Drivers and partners
Who delivers: your own drivers, a local courier, a courier on demand, and marketplace orders you deliver yourself; and who goes first.
Back office Settings Delivery Drivers & partners
- Your drivers: staff with the Driver role (or the Drive deliveries permission). + Add a driver opens Staff & roles.
- Float: the cash a driver starts with. Pay sheets: a rate per km or per drop for your reports (Tillmora doesn't run payroll).
- Add a partner: a local courier (name, phone, rate card; their riders use a link, no app), a courier company with an app (Uber Direct first), or marketplace orders marked "restaurant delivers".
- Who goes first: rules in order, such as an own driver free within 10 minutes, past 10 km the cheapest partner, otherwise ask staff. Staff can always choose someone else.
Example
A local courier
City Couriers: up to 6 km $9, 6–12 km $12, waiting $0.50 a minute after 5 minutes, never collecting cash. The card shows what you owe them this month.
Do drivers need a till?
No. Drivers use the Tillmora app on a phone in driver mode, or a link for a partner's rider. Driver phones don't count as tills.
If it goes wrong
A driver isn't listed under Your drivers
Give them the Driver role at this branch in Staff & roles, or tick Drive deliveries and Record payments in their role (they take payment at the door; without Record payments each one goes to Review). Owners and managers can drive but aren't listed.
