Set up delivery

For owners and managers · updated 18 Oct 2026

Start from your country's usual fees, put your restaurant on the map, then switch delivery on.

Back office Settings Delivery

  1. Tap Set up delivery. You start with your country's usual distance bands and free-delivery amount, a Delivery type and a Pickup type. Change anything after.
  2. On Areas & fees, tap Pick on the map next to Deliveries start from. Search for your restaurant by the name Google knows it by, or a place nearby, or tap Use my location while you're at the restaurant. Move the map until the pin sits on your door (Satellite helps where streets have no names), add a few words for drivers if you like, and tap Deliveries start here. Every distance, band and delivery time is measured from the pin.
  3. Check the bands, add your areas (below), then switch Delivery at your branch on at the top. It can't be switched on until the pin is placed.
  4. On General: whether online orders are accepted on the till or by themselves, the kitchen's time before an order can go, kilometres or miles, the live map for guests, tips, and the age to check ID for alcohol.

Example

A Perth restaurant

Saffron & Co in Cannington taps Set up delivery and gets Australia's usual bands: up to 3 km $5, up to 5 km $8, up to 10 km $12, free over $30. They search "Saffron & Co Cannington", nudge the pin onto the front door on Albany Hwy, and switch delivery on.

Example

A pizzeria in a market lane

The Pizzas in Lalgarh has no street number: its address is "Main Bazaar, near the Gurudwara". The owner taps Use my location standing at the counter, switches to Satellite to check the pin is on their shop and not the lane behind it, types "Opp. Gurudwara, Main Bazaar" for drivers, and taps Deliveries start here.

Can I just type our address?

Search for your restaurant's name or a place nearby, then move the pin. Typed addresses are often vague or match the wrong place, and a pin 500 m off makes every fee and time wrong. The pin is what counts.

Why are distances by road, not a straight line?

An address 2 km away across a river can be 7 km by road. Fees by road are fair to guests and to you. A straight-line circle is never used.

If it goes wrong

"Pick your restaurant on the map first" when switching delivery on

Tap Pick on the map and place the pin on your door. Every distance and time is measured from it, so delivery stays off until it's placed.

If it goes wrong

"Use my location" isn't there

Your browser only shares where it is on a secure (https) page and when you allow it. Search for your restaurant instead, then move the pin.
