The kind of place you are
The kind of place (Café, Quick service, Full-service, Bar, Cloud kitchen) sets sensible defaults. Changing it later offers only the settings you haven't changed yourself.
Back office Settings Kind of place
- Open Settings › Kind of place.
- Choose the kind that fits best.
- Check what it would change, and apply.
Example
From café to full-service
A café adds table service in the evenings. Changing to Full-service offers: open on tables, ask for guests, pay at the end, tips on. Their own changed settings (auto-lock, receipt footer) stay as they are.
Does it change my menu?
No. It changes how the tills work, not your dishes.
If it goes wrong
Nothing changed after switching
Settings you had already changed yourself are kept. Change them directly in Settings.
